I also don't want to be charged for the damn thing either. I need the hotfix for Exchange 2003 from this link

I clicked this link in that KB article about contacting Microsoft, but it looks like I will have to pay and I don't know which number to call.

Anyone ever had to do this and have some pointers?

If you have an MSDN subscription, depending on the level, you may have some free calls available and you can use those - you'll just need your subscription ID. However, looking at the knowledge base article, it lists that the fix is available in Service Pack 1 for Exchange Server 2003 - so I assume you're running Exchange Server 2000?

No, we are running Exchange 2003 with SP1, but the files listed don't match dates for the files we have.

You can call and ask directly for the hotfix. They won't charge you. They'll send you a link via e-mail with a password to unzip the hotfix.

I have Microsoft Premier support and can avoid all that and download the fix directly. Sucks for you. J/K...

I would help you but you have to call instead.
