Congrats! I know you worked hard for that. What are you "restricted" to?

Its a page and a half of things. Pretty much work, doctors, kid's doctors, AA, store...I can't think of any where I go that isn't covered.

The only thing is that I have to get an ignition interlock device for the next year. That will be humbling but well worth it.

Congrats man! Do you know the cost on that device yet? I ask because my stepson is pretty much in the same boat. If he ever gets his license back, (and a car) he'll need one.

roughly $70/month. I need to call around tomorrow to find out about the install fees.
 
Freedom of movement is not so free when you're restricted to having a state issued license to travel anywhere with a personal vehicle.
 
Had a 38 year old co-worker who had a history of DUI's. License was revoked for about a year, then a in-car breathalyzer was installed in his car (not sure how much he paid for installation). So far he his been sober for 3 years.
