Anyone ever file FEDEX claim?

my opteron 146 was supposed to arrive last night. Nothing on my door step. FedEx tracking note says "signature not requested left on door step". But my xp-90 from UPS showed up and it was right on the doorstep. WTF!!!!!
i am really pissed. called fed ex. said they'd check with the driver but i doubt that will produce jack squat. so then my only option is to file a claim.
Anyone have experience with this?
I feel an anal assault approaching...

Don't know much about FedEx, but if no sig was required I think you're farked.

Don't know much about FedEx, but if no sig was required I think you're farked.

weird thing is, they've always required a signature before. And i never told them any different. so what's the deal.

FEDEX only insures up to $100. you have to send in all kinds of proof (as far as price goes and such. if you bought it from some guy on here or your SOL)

$100? really? that is bs. but at least i bought it from an online store with an invoice. i guess eating 80 dollars is better than eating $180. goddamn bull ******!!!.. ahem excuse me.

edit: excaliber says they insured it for the amount of the item. guess we'll see.

well it was supposedly delivered before the ups one...

looks like excaliberpc charged the extra dollar for insurance... phew! now to wait around for the claim to come through. ugh.
