Even high end stuff from outlaw is designed here in the states most is made in China or Korea to get the price affordable. My last Onkyo from Japan only lasted till the warranty ran out. However I bought a cheaper version and it was made in China, Still going and runs cooler to boot -- 4 years later.

Most T-amp chips are made in Philippines/Malaysia... However you can buy high end caps and gold plated binding posts and upgrade just about anything on the amp including the power supply and you'd most likely get a better sound. I believe the T-Amp was made for modding.

I don't think it matters much where you amp was made these days. The Chips are the heart of any Digital amp and they are all made in China/Malaysia.
