Anyone ever bought any used games from Blockbuster?

I'm wondering if they even sell any used PS3 games, and if so, how the prices are. I want to get resistance and motorstorm, but ebgames has em for like $50 used. That is ridiculous for used games.

I knwo about ebay and craigslist and stuff but I'm just wondering how blockbuster is w/prices and stuff.

It's really hit or miss and depends on the time that you buy. On occasion they have buy 2 get one free, or buy one get one 50% off. But it really varies by store and promotions.

I haven't looked at PS3 prices but the blockbuster near me was selling "hot" used 360 games for decent prices. When Gears of War was going for $60 new, it was selling for around $40. Crackdown is priced at $35. Pricing is really bizzare though. Tiger Woods '06 was priced at $28 but TG '07 was $15.



Hit up a couple different ones. They all have very different selections and the sales aren't even consistent across town.

Edit: Probably 50% of my 1st gen Xbox games are from Blockbuster. If you don't require manuals or "original" packaging material I have no complaints.

I just got Resistance for $40 new for my brother recently. Sucks that you couldn't get in on that deal.

I've actually had good luck with 360 games on eBay. Got Forza for $40 shipped (new) and All Pro Football 2k8 for ~$32 shipped (new). In both cases I just made a bid that I knew would not win on a lark, and I ended up winning both auctions.

You probably want something to play "right now" but what about gamefly.com? Besides rentals, people have said it's a good place to buy used games too.

I haven't joined or bought yet myself -- I already own too many games I haven't around gotten to yet to be buying/renting more.
