Anyone ever been to a Manheim Auction?

Hello,

So I convinced a local dealer to take me to a Manheim Auction to look for an 06 or 07 accord. Do they start the car at the auction or is it there no guarantees? Should I be concerned about getting a lemon? Anything else I should know? Thanks

ive been to some auto auctions before. the ones ive been to had all the keys in the cars on the lot, so you could get there early and start them up and take a look at them. a lot of the late model stuff at the auctions ive been to was mostly repo stuff. not all of it, but a lot of it. the dealer youre with should be able to give you some advice, keep an eye on the crowd, a lot of times if other deals dont want something at all, theres a good reason for it. watch some auctions on a few cars even if you arent interested in it to get a feel for how it works.

Thanks for the info. I've been to public auctions, and I agree most of it is late model high mileage crap. Anyone know if there is a place to see the results of previous auctions (prices etc)? I googled it and someone posted prices sold at manheim for M5's.
