Anyone else working today?

I'm deploying new version of our J2EE software. Unfortunately, the deployment process went terribly wrong - so it looks like I'll be stuck here for a while. Sometimes being the only guy who knows how to do something is a bad thing

in the last 1.5 years, this is probably my third saturday off. Usually, I have 2 weekdays off and work through the weekends...damn 24/7 operations

as soon as i get my butt in the shower and eat something, i will head to work

intermediate milestone for big project due on tuesday when my boss gets back from his week vacation

i have a lot of stuff to finish

Watch TV, check on my food dehydrator with peaches in it (Farm grown), mow some grass, do some stuff.

i'm at work fixing the issues due to the blackout. Seems the only thing lost was a DLT tape drive. I dunno why it died, since the machine was powered down normally :brokenheart:

I was supposed to...but thanks to Erika, the plant was shut down.
So here I sit, Saturday morning drinking my coffee and looking outside at a beautiful sunny day.

The storm missed us competely!

Yes I'm at work, slaving away. Actually, I should start doing some work.

I don't have all that much to do, so a bit of kicking back isn't too bad. Just gotta fix a couple more computers in the next hour or so, and a few more again before the day's up. I'll probably build a system as well, since I have the parts for it. It'll be done early either way. weeeee.... next pay check should be big since i had that 50 hour week last week, so i should see some overtime pay. plus the housr this week, not quite as long, but close to full time.. hmmm too bad i dont get paid what most peopel do for this job
