Why the hell is Sato still out there? :|

The FIA should have called him back in after they sent him back out? This isn't neckcar! He's just creating a safety hazard.

Is there a delay on this event?

Kimi's kept pretty much the same gap for the last 10 laps anyway.

I watched the replay of the Canadian GP last night.

This is supposed to be the ultimate in auto racing ?

$100 million cars that can't run 75 miles ?

Rules that allow the also rans to completely undo the effort of the leader, who got there because he drove his heart out, and then park the guy who should have won ?

Teams that screw their own drivers out of winning ?

That track is 2.71 miles and the race is 70 laps which is about 189 miles. These cars are on the cutting edge of technology. They are very complex machines and are subjected to forces like no other car on the planet during the course of a race and the circuit Gilles Villeneuve is one of the most demanding on brakes of all the circuits raced on by F1.

McLaren pulled Kimi in first probably because he is the driver with the most chance of winning the World Driver's Championship. Rules are the rules, Montoya should not have exited the pits under a red light.

Rules that make the leader pit after the backmarkers are stupid rules.

And cutting edge is technology that achieves something new or unique, not something that is a dismal failure.

A 1962 Plymouth Valiant taxi cab would have finished about 10th in the Canadian Grand Prix.

And 8th in the US Grand Prix, if it ran on Armstrong retreads. :)

btw, I'm actually a fan of all motorsports, but felt it's about time we had a little payback to all the people who think F1 is superior to oval racing series like NASCAR.
