Pakistan batted first and scored 273 in 50 overs with 7 outs. India is currently working on their 42nd over with 257 and 4 outs. As long as India doesn't get 5 outs and can keep scoring their same pace over the next 8 overs, they will win (each team only gets one at bat.)
😕 😛
What the hell does that mean? Is that good or bad? 😕
That's good. Each "over" consists of 6 bowls or "pitches" (to you baseball folks) by the bowler. Each World Cup match consists of 100 overs in total. Each team only gets 50 overs to bat. Therefore they must not get out before those 50 overs are well, over. So India had 257 runs on their 42nd over with 4 outs (also known as wickets), and they had 8 overs left to make runs to win the game. They had to beat Pakistan's score of 273 runs.

This is going to require research 😀

woot!! India won 😀
So do they get Kashmir now?

Hehe, last World Cup was during the Kargil War and Pakistani team said that whoever wins the match wins the war. Needless to say, the Indian team won the match. Pakistan has never beat India in World Cup matches.

That said, this time, both teams agreed not to lose their temper nor make this into a political event. It was just about cricket and that's why both teams played a fantastic match and it made it one of the best matches ever played in this World Cup so far.
