Michael is a total slacker, how can he be a Top Chef? He's good for family/casual type restaurant. I can't imagine him being any more serious.

That is why the judges were so surprised with what he made on the last episode.

Sam and Michael are my favorites right now. Marcel is a good chef, but not nearly to the extent that he seems to thinks he is.

I haven't caught up to the newest newest episode. The last episode I saw was where they have to make enough food to cater to some Hollywood party. And Cliff's team didn't have enough food on the table all the time. Mia took the blame and left to let Elia to stay in....

So out of like a big chunk of the season, I haven't seen Michael done anything that show that he can be a Top Chef. - even his TGIF piece was a flop- which was a surprise....

that was also the last episode my Tivo recorded....I don't think there have been any more aired.
The newest episode is 'Seven'. It's the one after the one you guys are talking about.

'Seven' is re-airing tonight on Bravo. Perhaps you should set the Tivo/DVR because it's on at 3:30 AM ET. But of course it will be re-aired a few more times before the next episode.

yeah, I just checked Tivo and since I record another show on Wednesday, it records Top Chef at 2:30 on Friday morning.

How come no one likes Elan? I liked him until this 7 deadly sins episode where he started in on Marcel... Otherwise, I've got to say Cliff is my second favorite. Something about Sam really bothers me.

Here is my take on all the surviving contestants so far.

Mike, He is a total hack with limited skills. He is too laid back to have any leadership skills. A long shot in my opinion for the title.

Marcel, A cocky little prick but he does have presentation down spot on while his flavor profiling and pallet is off. He does have skill and is currently an apprentice with
Joel Robuchon. His lack of leadership skills will get him cut right before final four challenge in my opinion.

Elia, I really don?t know what to think of her. Sometimes her presentation needs work and sometimes her judgment is off. Elia has also served apprenticeships with Joel Robuchon and Andre Rochat.

Cliff, Good leadership skills and stays out of the loft drama that earns him points with his fellow contestants. Flavoring and technique spot on while presentation needs work.

Sam Seems to be middle of the road on all aspects of the challenge.

Elian, Lacks technique and experience against all the rest.

It?s a toss up to me between Elia or Cliff that takes the title.

Bump for the new episode tonight on at 10:00 PM Eastern on Bravo. It will also repeat at 11:00 PM Eastern.

For those that still haven't watched last week's episode, it will be on before the new episode tonight at 9:00 Eastern.

🙂

mikey is a cool guy but i'm very sad to see him go. 🙁

i want both marcel and cliff to go, both definitely have problems.

Bye bye michael. You were cool and laid back, but really they made the right decision.

Thanks for spoiling it for us folks on the West Coast. I figured Mikey would be cut this week then Marcell nest week.

Man, Cliff really messed up. Getting kicked off was a bit harsh, though.
That whole show was messed up. Cliff getting overly physical with Marcel. Elia shaving her head. Sam agreeing to shave his head and then backing out.

I wonder how much alcohol had actually been consumed. It must have been alot.

I think Marcel will wind up finishing 2nd.

I can see Elia freaking out and Ilan making a mistake to allow him to get into the final. I think Sam's gonna win it all though.

I hope Sam wins (he was on The Morning Show this morning).

I hope Ilan gets 2nd, Elia 3rd, and Marcel 4th. 🙂

I hope that's the order also, but Marcel's sneaky.
