It is nothing like a real kitchen. Half those chefs don't know what it's like to work in a real restaurant.

Aren't almost all of them either line cooks, executive chefs, or something of the kind?
Yeah, it looks like Sam's the favorite. I can't help but like Michael, though. So far, I think Elia's dishes have been the most creative, but I just don't feel like she's going to win.
Glad to see Betty go, though. What a total b!tch.

Michael is a total slacker, how can he be a Top Chef? He's good for family/casual type restaurant. I can't imagine him being any more serious.

That is why the judges were so surprised with what he made on the last episode.
Sam and Michael are my favorites right now. Marcel is a good chef, but not nearly to the extent that he seems to thinks he is.

I haven't caught up to the newest newest episode. The last episode I saw was where they have to make enough food to cater to some Hollywood party. And Cliff's team didn't have enough food on the table all the time. Mia took the blame and left to let Elia to stay in....
So out of like a big chunk of the season, I haven't seen Michael done anything that show that he can be a Top Chef. - even his TGIF piece was a flop- which was a surprise....
