Anyone else usually not reply to threads more than 3-4 pages long?

When a thread here has gotten past the first few pages, I almost never reply. The reasons being

A) With so many people here, it's likely someone's already said what I think

B ) You have to read through the entire thread to make sure the OP hasn't posted something else to modify the situation/question, and to make sure A) hasn't occurred.

C) As the thread gets longer, the probability of Alkemyst posting in it and immediately ruining the credibility of the entire thread approaches 1. Just like the "comparing X to Nazis" theory.

What about you all.
 
I normally read or skim the whole thread up until the point it becomes repetitive, trolled or unfunny. If I still have something unique to say at the end, I'll add it whatever the page length is.
 
The longer the thread the more likely I will read every response and add my own if I have anything new/relevant to include. A thread that long piques my curiousity, I assume it is a worthwhile discussion.

Same here. Odds of me reading every page in a 5-10 page thread is pretty rare, which for me would be 200-400 posts because I used 40PPP.
 
Depends, If the thread was just recently started and is 30-40 posts deep because of heavy posting activity then it is hot and i might want to join the fray. Otherwise i don't usually get in late.
 
Most of the time I won't, unless its to post some dumb comment that adds little value to the thread.

Don't assume that, look at my Seinfeld rant thread 92 worthless posts.
 
Depends on whats happening around me, and if I feel like reading a little. I still haven't skimmed that bulk beef thread...
 
I like posting in religion/creationism vs. evolution threads even though I rarely have anything of worth to add. Racism threads run a close second though. Those threads almost always get pretty long before I get to them, but I usually read every reply before posting. Basically if it's a subject I like discussing then sure.
 
I read the OP, several of the posts if they interest me, then post my opinion without reading any of the other posts.
