Anyone else use E-Music?

Anyone else signed up as well? I think the place is great, 10 bucks a month for all the music you want. Only downside is that all the music is 128kbps, but downloads are FAST and honestly the songs dont sound that bad at all. I'm just happy I have a way to pay for music without feeling robbed now (doing my best to get away from the illigal downloads 😱).

I was just looking at their website. How good is their selection? I couldn't find The Police on there...

Selection is good, they have alot of old stuff as far as I can tell. They get rights from artists so while there is ALOT of music, they are limited in that respect. Generally once a CD has sold all it's going to sell in retail stores, artists put it up on e-music it seems.

It's great if you like punk. I snatched every Hellcat album from them once. Only problem is the bitrates (used to) suck. Are they still encoding at 128?

Still 128, I listen to alot of different stuff but mostly stick to hip hop and for the most part quality is very acceptable (for 10 bucks a month at least, even if your a quality nut I don?t think you'd be to disappointed).

Hell, $10 is half the price of a CD these days. Even if they are low-quality it's worth it if you like the music. Plus it being legal is a good thing too.

If you like indy music, it's pretty good...
It's where all my Apples in Stereo and Mogwai and the like came from...
