I have no idea if the airflow is really improved over the original...looks like a lot of flow in, not sure where its all gonna go...but i have to say, the same part of me that likes bigger butts on women likes this case:

***edit I obviously put this in the wrong section, I apologize and would appreciate if a mod could move it...additionally the pun with cool as all hell was unintended....

MOD EDIT: Moved. - Zap

I say it would be difficult enough to deal with the kind of flow set up by the side fans to want to mess with a cross flow too.

Sorry these cases are trash for air cooling. They just are. That big ol fan on the top, while pretty and all, isn't going to do squat, all that air is going to hit the PSU and scatter and back-feed to the fan. and if you use it as an exhaust you're going to create a vacumn in the case unless you set-up the rear as an intake also, then there would be so much turbulence from the air coming in the side and the rear then goign out the PSU and trying to wrap aroudn teh PSU to get to the top fan it's just going to go all over the place and create a bunch of dead spots.

It at least would be for collecting cat hair if I ever need to re-fur one of the cats...

what color are your cats, I've got tons of spare orange tabby fur that you can have if you pay shipping ;) I've got three desktops with a total of 6 filtered 120mm intake fans, I swear I clean them everyday and they're just permanantly clogged with freaking cat hair!

With cases like the iStar S9 for $5 and the CM690 for $19 AR every other week why spend $50 on a case that's not going to cool as well?
