Anyone else think the default XP theme is much uglier than Classic theme?

The Luna theme is a hideous bug which has never been fixed. 😉
It looks like it was made by a four year old.

Personally I always replace the uxtheme file with a hacked one that allows third party themes.
The theme I run is much sleeker and pleasing to the eye than Luna.

If I couldn't do that then it would defiantly be classic for me.

I don't mind the 'Theme' so much but the first thing I do when I log into a default XP box is set the taskbar and folder views to classic. The default start menu and folder view are absolutely awful looking and the functionality is terrible.

XP Luna looks like ass. XP Royale is a lot better. Classic looks like ass on LCDs.

I use Aerial on Windowblinds. Now that's a nice theme.

It's not so much a matter of ugliness, I run the classic because I do not like the desktop or interfaces to be distracting. I like colors, etc., but not on my desktop.

The fist thing I do on my own machine is switch to 'rainy day' classic toolbar theme and the XP professional blue wallpaper.

I always replace the default Windows theme, usually with the Royale theme, but sometimes with something else. I'm using HmmXp right now.

Rainy Day is the only classic theme I like, but I really like it. I'd use that over the default Luna, but I prefer Royale and Zune over Rainy Day. I'm currently using Zune, but I generally switch around custom themes as the mood strikes me.
