Anyone else think that diamonds are ugly?

Yes DeBeer's is evil etc. etc. But does anyone else simply think diamonds are ugly? To me, they look like sparkly glass. And everyone always want perfectly white, inclusion free diamonds that have no charector. Give me corundum or a nice piece of quartz any day.
