I've had several discussions about this topic with my black friends and they all say that its not acceptable for a white person or anyone else who is not black to use that word since they are not black and have not had the black experience. They say that what blacks had to go through and that word being used on them in a derogatory way in the past sort of has a differnent meaning. One of my friends told me I could use that word and they would be alright with it since I hang out with blacks and am friends with them. But he also said if he saw a couple of old white guys using that word he would not like it.

i think some rapper just needed something to rhyme with chigger

and i have friends who are into the whole "gangsta" scene, and they say ni[/i]gga a lot also...and most of them are mexicans
