Except the cell phone poll that showed it 55-40 for Kerry. But who needs numbers?

Cell phone poll?

rotflmao!

Anywho 55-40 is pretty damn split when it comes to this age range. It should be more like 70-30 or 80-20.

Close or anything around 50% does not favor an incumbent.

Period.

The 'Unknown' and 'Undecided' usually go for a change of venue
rather than continuing to plod along with an unpopular direction.

remember this.. regardless of how close it really is, the media wants to portray this election as the closest election ever.. think about it.. if the media was telling us, bush had a 10pt lead who would actually be watching the news? also, they refer back to the great news results they had from the 2000 elections..
so i wouldnt be surprised if a blowout occurs either way...

Based upon the polling I'm seeing and the general momentum that seems to be in Kerry's favor, I don't think this election will be close at all when it comes down to the electoral votes. As expected, voter turnout will be immense this election. Young, old, middle-aged, they are all voting in record numbers. The excitement and interest in this election is unparalleled in recent years. So far, Kerry and Bush are pretty much tied in most key battleground states. Now, if voter turnout is big, and young people go out and vote I believe they will be the factor that push's Kerry over the top in nearly every battleground state. I just don't see this election going to Bush at all at this point. Bush needed to sustain his RNC bounce of 6 or 7 pts. if he wanted to win this thing. But this is just my predicition and I'll probably be dead wrong anyways.

Just shows how badly the chromosome chains have deteriorated in the last 18 to 20 years!

Just shows how out of touch, complacent and greedy old fatasses in front of their TV have become.

It's a realistic split or else it'd look like a CNN online poll.

Not really. 60%-40% is pretty much the biggest margins you'll get. Last time I checked even staunch red and blue states in 2000 had this sort of margin at max. So a 15% is pretty nice. Sowwy.

Kerry will win 52% of the vote. Bush will get 43%.

Kerry wins by a large margin in the EV and only a few hundred thousand votes in the popular vote.

By the way, I just saw on CNN that supposedly in Florida more new Republican voters have been registered than Democrats. I don't know where they got that stat, but we are being told 128,000 new Dem voters in Florida and about 70,000 new Republican voters. I have no clue how accurate any of these numbers are and have my suspicion that they are mostly guesstimates.

Kerry will win the popular vote and the EC votes at first but the Republicans will carry the day in court and the SC will select the Unelected One again. :p

I already have made my prediction in the "Bush won't win (He won't)" thread I started recently.

Since people seem interested in streaks, I have not picked the winner of the presidential election incorrectly since I began doing it, which was in 1968, when I picked Nixon. I believe Bush will win this election.

If I'm wrong, it wouldn't be the first time I was wrong by any stretch of the imagination; but it will be the first time I'm wrong about the outcome of a presidential election. :)

Polls indicate Kerry has a lead, it isn't horribly suprising to me....

I still feel Bush will get a victory here because almost every poll that has Kerry in the lead keeps it in the margin of error.

I think Kerry will win but for another reason. The Redskins lost to the Packers yesterday. That being said the polling numbers I have heard actually has young voters about evenly split 50/50 between the two.

In the past democrats usually carry the women and young people. Something they are doing neither of this campaign.

It could really go either way electorally. But I expect the popular vote to be within 3% points.

Also while people are ramping up the registered voters thing through the media. The offical numbers across the US was up about 3%. How many of those 3% will show up is anybodys guess.

I called the Redskins to lose, and i think Bush will lose OHio. However he will still carry the election..

Iowa, Wisconsin, MN all up for grabs..

NM and Hawaii are all looking Red.

I see an upset of the curses.

Bush wins.

No not really. Though the DUb has been a lousy President I don't believe enough people think that Kerry would be much better. It'sd a case of the Devil you know vs the Devil you don't.

Gotta go with Conjur. There's a vibe, an undercurrent, a certain something going on that the polls can't capture- some deep rising up in the electorate which doesn't bode well for Republicans, at all.

They know it, too, even while trying to keep up the usual smug. Smell it? That's the smell of fear...

Kerry will win with over 300 electoral votes.

Bush will promptly declare himself the victor by Executive order. The Supreme court will back him 5 to 4. ;)

I agree...I hate to go with gut feelings, but I've noticed a hint of panic on the conservative side, at least locally, that I haven't noticed before. All they seem to have is that smug arrogance, but under that I can see a sense of "Oh sh!t" that seems new.
