I was going to try it when I found it recently, but I decided on ObjectDock instead.

I use it when I feel like sprucing up my desktop. That lasts for about 2 days usually. :)

I was using it not too long ago... but it lost it's novelty, and wasn't really practical for me.

I was using it, and then I got a Powerbook and it seemed kind of silly to use it on my Windows desktop when I had a Mac, so I don't anymore.

I found that it screwed up any full screen games I'd play. When I moved my mouse to the bottem of the screen it would minimize the game, I found that extremely annoying.

I use too, until I was playing Theif and whenever I looked up, the little menu bar would show through in the game.

I would think that would make you use it more, since you were used to it.

I didn't like it because when i maximized a screen it would go past the dock, unlike in mac where it would stop before.

Same here. Was playing something once upon a time that required mouse movements on all sides of the screen (Warcraft maybe). I had YzDock hid at the top, and anytime I wanted to move up, there went my game crashing to the desktop because that damn dock wanted to pop up. I got rid of it and never looked back.

What are the advantages of ObjectDock plus over regular objectdock? Besides the tabbed docks, which I have no need for.

Just the tabbed docks, huh? I think they are cool, and I like what they've done with them on that page, I just don't have enough things I need quick access to. The regular objectdock works great for me though.

how so, object dock has a plethera more options then YZ, its still being worked on, updates for YZ have stopped cause apple sued them, OD+ allows for multipial docks, much better docklets and a userbase thats huge that creates stuff for it all the time

its also less buggy and smoother
