I'm just waiting for my powerbook to arrive.

At a former job I'd bring in my iBook, and hook it up to the tv to watch DVDs.

I actually bring a full size system in, along with my Planar 17" LCD. I'm too poor to afford a laptop.

It's this system. I just put it in that Antec box, wrap the LCD up in a towel, and keep them in my car during the week. I keep the mouse, keyboard, and cords here at work. I work @ a hotel, so I just roll a luggage cart out to my car. The blue light is comforting....

It's only in my car @ my house during the day, and we don't really have much crime up here in NH.

I can sleep @ night with my doors wide open, and I usually leave my windows down in the car. I do take the system back inside on my days off.

Also, the LCD was free. Some guest had Planar ship it to him here, and then he left it here. We had no contact information for him, so after about 9 months, I asked if I could claim it. I saw the planar box and knew what it was right off, but no one else here did.




Ohhhh....looks like the 6am pot of coffee is ready. Did I mention I have a coffee maker, bag of french roast beans, and a coffee grinder here, as well as spring water from the water bottle to make it with. You know...I have a nice little setup here now that I think about it.

Now if only the pay was better....
