Anyone Else Sick?

I have been sick with a cold since Wednesday. Seems many people I know are catching colds this week.

So far my cold has been fairly mild. Mostly sore throat and stuffed sinuses. I just wish I could get more sleep.

I am very bored, too.

Hopefully I will be better by next week.

Increasingly excruciating back pain radiating from a center spot that I initially thought was a pimple on my back that appeared at the same time, but no longer looks like a typical pimple. It started at wide spread skin pain around it, and is now spine deep, through my neck and shoulder, and down my spine, all on one side. Didn't do anything, lift, or anything to pull a muscle or injure myself. Not an injury. So if it's not some kind of disease, I figure it has to be brown recluse bite, & I'm rotting from the inside out. Any other ideas?

It might not be cold. I have this sore and scratchy throat with a cough. It's allergy. I rarely get allergy this time of year,but I guess I am finally allergic to mold spores. Check it see if mold spores are high in your area,it's at 10% in my area. Took a Allegra last night and today and feeling so much better already.

Typical sinus infection that I always seem to get around this time of the year. It generally lasts for about a week or so. Hope everyone feels better soon.

So far so good, but lot of people have been sick here too. I seem to always skip the "epidemics" which is good, but with everyone around me being sick with a cold it always makes me scared I'll catch it too. I don't get sick that often but when I do it usually drags on for months.

I know why we get sick though: some douchebag on the subway earlier just blew his nose onto the platform/ground. Ugh, every winter I also have to deal with coughers on the subway sitting perpendicular to me and coughing without covering their damn mouth.

YES! I've been sick all week, since about Monday. Fucking sucks. Yesterday I couldn't stop coughing to save my life. Today my nose won't stop running.

Coughing last few days. Most likely because the air at night is cold [and a stuffy nose would lead to breathing through the mouth] and if you have heat on, it is dry. Humidifier should help, but only a little.

Think I may be coming down with something. Sore throat and snot all day today. Have to wait and see what becomes of it. Had a cough once in the last 4.5 years, nothing else. Being sick really kicks my ass since it's so infrequent, but usually I'll be really sick for 1 day and feel normal the next. I seriously pray for death during that sick day though.

It's like a bad sci-fi plot device. I can almost enjoy the fascination, if it wasn't so concerning.

I also stopped shivering and feeling cold.

seems like I am on my way to getting well.
