Anyone else sick of the PS2 thing? My little cousin wants one...

And of course there are none out there. I've been looking since early Sunday, with no luck. 921 miles on the truck, a zillion gallons of gas, and many frustrating hours later, I still have yet to find one.

Anyone have any idea when these pieces of crap are gonna be back in supply? I can't afford the $500+ they want on the auctions. Something tells me I'm gonna have to tell him to wait 'till after Christmas. How close am I?

Sony sucks. :| They do this crap on purpose to clean out all their old systems.

clean out their old systems? somehow, i don't see that happening.. if someone wants a PS2, they will probably wait for it, not buy 3yr old technology (or get a dreamcast which means no good for sony).

They're using rambus ram, it's just biting them in the ass now

How many more threads are we going to have that deals with PS2? I'm so sick and tired of seeing post after post about how people are sick of others selling PS2 or moaning and groaning about Sony. Just deal with it because there is nothing you can do.

Let the kid down NOW! You ain't gonna see anymore units till after Christmas man. As a matter of fact if the kid's got a birthday say AFTER January, I'd bet my friends' cat the price of PSX2 will be $300 or LESS.

And if you can hold out till Nintendo or Sega announce or come out with their stuff, it'll drive it even lower.
