Yeah! And if you don't like the way the country is run, MOVE to another country. And if you don't like your state and local government, die. And if you don't like immigrants, move to a country with no immigrants (oh wait.) And if you don't like taxes, don't pay them! And if you don't like racism ...

You're lame. Get a life.

It's a terrorist plot to drive up gas prices to very high levels so that everyone will be forced to take buses and trains so that they can get the most bang for their buck when they send in the suicide bombers.

You can make a damn good living and still b!tch about the fact that gas prices are absolutely ridiculous. If you think they aren't, you're just a flaming idiot.

Not eight years ago I could fill my car up for $10 or less, and you wonder why people complain...

This is the first time I've found out that the pumps actually have a $$ limit. Filled up a couple weeks ago and the pump stopped at $60, on the dot, and wouldn't let me put anymore gas in the tank (tank was pretty much empty, and I'd only put 17.2 gallons in an 18.5 gallon tank).

Yeah, I have to use premium (doesn't bother me one bit), but wtf on the $$ limit?

You can send me a check since your so loaded. Hmmm walk 24 miles to work....thats so practical, why didn't I think of that.....

Then take the dang bus or commute with other people for crying out loud. I find the bus so much more relaxing then sitting in traffic anyways.

**EDIT**
Not to mention the damage that all the people who drive in by themselves to work has on the environment. I mean even if we stop, hurricanes and the like will continue to esaclate just because we have already done the damage, but damage control would be nice.

I never get sick of threads I don't like.
If I'm not interested, I don't click the link.

To help limit the ammount stolen via credit card fraud.
Gas pumps have no real way of verifying who is using the card that is inserted, so they limit the ammount that can be purchased in one transaction.

Because everyone has a bus that goes to their job or co-workers that work the same shift and live in their area?

Unless you work alone or in a very, very small company where all the workers live far away from each other, it can be easily done. It just takes effort. Most cities have a good commute or transit system, some even have rail or subway systems which are awesome. If you work in a city, you have no excuse because buses are provided in almost every US city out there. It just takes a little initial work to find out the bus/rail/subway routes. But of course, it is easier to moan and whine about it. If you work within 10 miles and your city is bike friendly, ride a bike (It is healthy for you, and saves gas, and is a great conversation starter).

If you work on a very weird schedule, then drive and talk to your company about a better schedule or compensation for the weird schedule. It is alright to complain a little about the gas prices, but some people downright moan, like there is nothing they can do. Give me a break, there is plenty you can do. Suppliers will drop the prices on oil when the prices get so inflated that the consumer will take alternative solutions like commuting... but instead most people just like to complain while they drive there Suped up SUV/Truck which they almost never really use or need.

Hahahahah because they don't want to be stiffed by people maxing out their credit cards.
