Yeah... What's with the parody on southerners? The first one wasn't funny at all. The second video was kind of funny.

Well, I found them quite amusing. Not as much as the 360 problem's though, just the things he was saying.

As I have been reading threads, forums, you name it...I have read about Xbox 360 problem's since I posted my...Which two consoles should I buy thread. . As that is why I chose the Wii and the Playstation 3.

I chucked at "Tom Hanks". But his fake southern accent was terrible and annoying.

His accent is so forced it hurts to listen to... and what he says is just dumb "Microsoft you suck more than... a vampire." Are you f'ing kidding me?

I agree that any state that has a major city named "Lynchburg" probably has a few issues. But hey, apparently I live in the part of Virginia that DOESN'T find Larry the Cable Guy's Xbox 360 dilemma hilarious. Anyway, I'm FROM Philadelphia.

All of this is completely irrelevant compared to your inability to see a joke for what it is - a joke.

Yes, and I knew it was a joke. Thats why you put in the smiley.

But in any instance...I am not from West Virginia. Lived here a few years. But born and raised in Maryland.

And Larry The Cable Guy ? I cannot even stand that guy. I'm more of a Bill Engvall fan :)

Well, while we're on the subject, I was born and raised in Kentucky, and have lived here all my life. With that said, Larry the Cable Guy and Bill Engvall are two of the worst "comedians" I've ever heard in my life.

As for the videos, I didn't find them even remotely entertaining or worthy of the slightest chuckle.

It's unfortunately that you passed on the 360 because of hardware problems that have been drastically reduced with newer 360 revisions (zehpyr and falcon).

The main thing that would anger me if my 360 were to die would be I wouldn't be able to play Halo or Mass Effect for 2 weeks. The PS3 doesn't really have anything that would keep me entertained long term (save for COD4).

I have never had a use for voice chat. And the friends list *whether 360 or PS3* does not matter to me either. I will just accept it for what it is. But the FREE online is a positive.

So if your just going to keep speaking negatively on all my opinions and choices..why do you keep posting ?

I actually never *completely* passed on the 360. As I stated in my other thread...which ever system I got now...I would get the other within a 3 month period or so.

Like I stated before, the 360 IS an excellent system with EXCELLENT games. But *right now* the PS3 games interest me more.

I will be buying Uncharted and Call Of Duty 4 also. And I have always been a Ninja Gaiden fan and no, I never did play the BLACK version for the original Xbox.

Ooooh... there's the burn. :p

While searching on an unrelated topic over at the CoD 4 forums, I found a thread that compared the PS3 version of CoD4 to Resistance. The guy was bitching up a storm about CoD4, but most of the features he was bitching about are system-wide features of the Xbox 360. This is why you research before deciding...

Edit: Oh, I brought that up because the friends list was one of the features the guy was bitching about.

You've never had a use for voice chat, but you're going to go buy CoD4? Your teammates will love you, and you'll do very well. It sounds like you're an offline gamer with your comments, I personally enjoy playing with people I know, more than strangers... it cuts down on the teabagging and racial slurs.

I admittedly haven't played Warhawk a ton, but when I did play it it didn't seem like many people were using headsets. I think I actually took mine off because no one else was talking and my wife kept talking to me. It doesn't come with the system, and I think it has to be Bluetooth instead of the cheap plug-in ones you can get for the 360 (maybe a USB headset would work too?). The fact that the 360 comes with the headset is a huge encouragement to actually use it. It boggles my mind when someone isn't wearing one. I guess the Core/Arcade don't come with a headset, but if you are going to play online you ought to get the higher models anyway. If you just don't want to use a headset for whatever reason, at least stick to non-tactical playlists!
