I've not yet been tagged by someone (and if they do it'll be unfriending time most likely), but lots of my friends get tagged by their friends which clutters up my feed further :/

You used to be able to tag that crap as spam and it'd quickly be taken down (I know because I used to get that shit all the time). I've tried doing it recently and all it says is "We know this may be annoying, message the user and tell them this type of posting annoys you".

You can still tag it as spam. Go through the list of options and the last one is 'I think this persons account is compromised.'

It's time for someone to make one of those idiotic posters that gets shared all the time. Something you can put as a reply and to the effect of,

"Okay, everyone. We signed up on social media to interact - socialize with our friends. Not to be solicited with pyramid schemes and multi-level marketing from people attempting to use and guilt their friends into purchasing their crap, because they know that strangers aren't going to buy it. I propose we all unfriend this person for a day, and only agree to refriend them if they promise to stop marketing here."

Aaaahahahaha, the It Works nutters. My girlfriend is acquaintances with someone who sells that. She would just de-friend this person, except that she has fun subtly poking fun at this person's posts about their pyramid scheme.

Facebook is the perfect place for people to hawk their wares until their friends and family finally block them.

My wife posts her new Real Estate listings on FB. Nothing has come of it so far (the FB listings-she has had a phenomenal year otherwise) but it never hurts to have free additional marketing.

Maybe at one time I wouldn't mind getting into their pants. But that was before the whole "real world" and "working" thing. Actually, both of those women are too stupid to get into the working world. Which explains why they are trying some stupid selling shit.

Yep, I know of two. One actually was involved with a business that eventually was found to be a fraud and the owner was caught. Highly discounted flights was the shtick, and I think the owner was paying for certain items with other peoples money or whatever. Ponzi scheme I think?

The other sells both Jamberry nails and some Norwex cleaning stuff or whatever to 'make extra money.' I suspect each of those is fairly more legit, but still a pyramid scheme or whatever. Seems like a colossal waste of time to me.

That being said, some of those woman who are good at sales are making a decent amount of cash. Know one that just broke the million dollar mark with her team

Maybe million $ in sales... Not % profit returned to her pocket heh.

The pyramid is you get a bunch of people under you, each giving you % of theirs, etc.. hence pyramid scheme. But in order to get that far, you would need very good managerial and social skills with more time than a stay-at-home mom has.
