6.0.2501 here. I think its way better than IE 5.5 but IE 5 with all the service packs is better.

There is a bug in OLE libraries that come with explorer 6. Try inserting an activex control into powerpoint, you'll notice that the control is dead. Found this one while working on an ActiveX control at work.

I have it running on two machines. It is nice. The only time it gave me an error was on the machine that is acting strange anyway so I don't think the problem was IE.

the latest beta fuxored up my Quicktime!! other than that i like it a lot. more stable than 5 thats for sure

i dont like it that much. crashes quite a bit more that 5.5
