anyone else refuse to shave on days they don't work?

Definitely. I have to shave everyday during the week, so on weekends, I'll generally shave either Saturday or Sunday, but not both. Gives my poor face a small chance to recover.

I only shave on work days, unless there is something on a nonwork day that I need to shave for. On vacations, I'll shave every 3 days or so.

I work from home, so my daily shaving has gone to 1x/week or so-if I have to go in ot the office of when the gf complains...I have a couple weeks worth of a beard I need to go hack through now...ouch...

I go no more than about 2 full days between shaves, no matter what. If working, I shave every morning.

Yup. When I got out of the Navy I was glad to be able to shave when I felt like it.
For almost the entire time I was in we had an official policy that even if you were on leave or liberty you had to be clean shaven.
They relaxed the official policy the last year I was in, but by that time I was looking forward to getting out anyway.

I can get away with a beard trimmer on the shortest setting. I still look professional unless you get within 1 foot of my face. Blond facial hair ftw.

i too have narrowed it down to once a week lately, although today my brother asked me "WTF is that on your face... you look like you work in the bush", so i might step it up a bit 0_0

i can't wear the week-old scruff to meetings for my job though. if i'm working strictly in the office and not dealing with the public, i can get away with not shaving for a few days.

so, Monday morning shave usually, then play it by ear depending on my work schedule for that week.
