Anyone else pumped for the Max Payne movie?

Shawn Ryan's involved in this project (creator of the Shield, The Unit). This was one of my favorite PC games. And the good thing is Uwe Boll isn't involved in this one!

Max Payne had the stupidest story out of any video game ever. Haven't played Max Payne 2 though.

The storyline is generic and tired. It would make a terrible movie; just like all other movies based on games. However, the games were awesome!

After seeing Running Scared...I'd even say maybe Paul Walker might be pretty good. He was SUPRISINGLY good in Running Scared. Like, to the point where i was like, "Holy crap, he can act!"

I can't wait to see a movie based on a game that is actually made well. It's refreshing to see that Uwe Boll has nothing to do with it though, it's definitely a good start.
