Anyone else prefer keyboards without numpads?

Hmm I use 8 forward, 5 back, 4 and 6 for respective directions.

so... in a FPS.... you don't use the mouse? or do you move the keyboard all the way to the left side then?

maybe they are left handed and have the mouse on the left?
 
My room mate just picked up a mini keyboard, he likes the laptop look/ feel too. I can't stand it, I need my numpad. I consider myself a skilled typist, but if forced to use the row of numbers I'll have to look, though oddly enough I don't seem to have to look when I use the puncuation marks above the numbers. Besides, I love my Logitech MX duo. 🙂
 
What they need to do is to place the numpad on the left -- I hate having it on the right because it makes my keyboard feel "un-centered" with the mouse on the right.
