Anyone else post from work behind a shared firewall, and have co-workers that post too?

I told my friend last night, when I was making a post on Anandtech, to sign up and add his side of the story. He signed up, and shortly after that an Anandtech Moderator locked the thread, and threatened to ban me for a second account.

Now I understand that since we are at work and behind a shared firewall that we all (several hundred of us!) would have the same external IP....

My question is, why is this such a foreign concept to the Moderators? Is anyone else in this same situation?

After explaining it to them I got another pm including the text "Please do not try to continue posting under multiple accounts. "

What kind of environment is this, I keep getting accused, and im guilty until proven innocent, and even pictures of my friend and I at work arent enough proof?

You could always just proxy through your home machines, then you'd have the same IP every time you post no matter where you are.
