hate too be a scrooge, but damn, this year xmas is just a hassle for me.... i guess alot of it's just me this year, grrrr im done venting 🙂

Yeah. Stressing. I gotta move in a few days and sign a year of my life away to a very small studio with no real kitchen. It has a refrigerator, a small sink, a few cabinets, some countertop space, and a plug-in electric range but that's it... I need to buy a microwave, a mini-oven, a better electric range (old one looks old), and lots of other shit.. Ah, the joys of being me. The place is big enough for what I actually NEED though. (Bed, desk, that's it) Now is it big enough for me to like living there? Probably not.

Also gotta share a bathroom with three other folks, but it's kept clean. Whatever. I'll learn the hard way.
 
I never get into the xmas or any holiday spirit. But I made a shitload of money today from people who do, so whatever.
 
My wife has zero holiday spirit this year...which is very surprising...she's been "Mrs. Christmas" every year for the previous 35 Christmases we've spent together...I'm always a "Scrooge" about the holidays...but secretly love all of what she does. (and I bitch like crazy when she puts me to work...but smile the whole time...and she knows I'm just putting on an act.)

This has been a weird year for us...money situation hasn't been what we're accustomed to, family strife, (damned kids...can't live with them, can't shoot them) and it never really seems like Christmas here...no snow.

Hell, it was like pulling hen's teeth trying to get her to put up the Christmas tree this year. Normally, she's clamoring for it by the time Thanksgiving dinner is done...this year, "Oh, I don't know if I even want to put it up this year." 🙄

Ah well...Maybe next year will be better. <shrug>

well at least im not the only one stressed this holiday, why ya moving? and into such uncomfortable quarters? sounds like your not real happy about it..

that's odd, but that's how i'm feeling this year, i mean, im not like upset it's the holiday, and i really dont have that good of a reason to be in a scroogey mood... it's just kinda like.. ah it's christmas...wonderful /sarcasm
 
Actually so far this holiday its been pretty good. The gift my best friend got me is fucking awesome as shit. I'm in the black for money spent on gifts. Have good food planned for Saturday. Only complaint is I broke a toe but other than that its gravy.
 
Nope... not feeling it either. Could be because I'll be working Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. And New Years eve and New Years day.....
