My last day for the year will be the 21st.

Same here. I don't usually take time off around the holidays so it will be nice. I'm going to dread going back on the 2nd though.

Reminds me of my first year idiocy... I let 3 days of vacation disappear because they couldn't be carried over and I had nothing to do. Holy crap how my mind has changed in 2 years.

Yes, NEVER lose vacation days even if it means sitting at home (unless, of course, unused vacation days are paid out rather than just lost). A coworker was whining and being a martyr a couple of weeks ago about how he always loses 1 week+ of vacation, and I chastised him for it.

School goes into break after the 21st. We go back on the 3rd

I swear, Christmas break gets shorter and shorter.

My last real day is this Wednesday. A lot of the deals I do rely on Dell hardware and anything I get signed on or before Wednesday will deliver this month. So the next 48 hours are insane. After that I just coordinate implementation and get paperwork signed by someone saying they received the stuff.

I work all next week but no one will actually be doing anything.
