However, after reading the narrow opinion of the Florida Supreme Court, I think they ruled properly. They left standards to the counties and they invoked a very swift deadline. A lot of votes may not be counted over this holiday because of the time pressures. I think the Court did the right thing, but still gave Bush a big chance to win.
