Anyone else notice that the forums seem dead lately?

Yeah, this software is terrible. At least vB's user control panel was useful. This color scheme burns my eyes.

Yeah, new format is too busy. WAAAY too much stuff going on and too little actual information. Posts are spread out far too tall and there's too much space between responses. It's also too bright and is hard on the eyes after a few minutes.

And mobile is practically unusable. The ads take up half the screen and resize 3-4 times before you can actually click anything. It's pathetic.

That drives me insane. It was just a bit annoying before, when the ad at the top took just a bit longer to load in, causing a vertical shift. I would end up clicking on the wrong thing.

Yes, I think that Stack Overflow is the move that I'll make.

It's a shame, though.

Your questions are kinda esoteric. Most people don't deal with code that low level. You'd probably get more answers on stack overflow due to the sheer number of programmers there.

Yeah I read the programming forums and will comment on stuff I know about, but I don't know any of the low level stuff you are doing, nor do I care to know any of it. It's just not of interest to me.

There are some really helpful people here.

Don't leave for good. Just look at it as a secondary resource when a question gets you too noisy of a response elsewhere.

What I noticed is that a lot of people here have the same interests as me and therefore they have worked out the same problems I will work out.

I will go months here of learning nothing and then someone will drop a nonchalant post that keeps me from having to spend hours Googling and hunting all over other forums and Reddit.
