when you're just entering data in cells, and all of a sudden the data in the cells just disappear, or entire rows just shift so you're not seeing what you're entering.
simply scrolling away and back will reveal the correct the problem and you'll see what you've actually entered.
i've noticed this on multiple workstations at work, and the only thing in common is that they're Wintel Dell's (different models) using onboard video cards, but different chipsets.
