Anyone else not win powerball?

Went in with some friends. We didn't even get a powerball number. Yeah I think it is all arranged to provide the fewest number of winners.

I always wondered if I'd *crash* (personally, psychologically) If I won the lottery like some lotto winners do.

I dunno.........$200+ million is a heck of a lot of money......(even *after* taxes & lump sum).

Would I be smart enough to keep my head above the psychological influence of having won so much money?? I'd like to think so, but I really can't say. People go crazy, go broke, commit suicide........all kinds of weird stuff after they win big bucks like that.

???

Nobody won. $300 million jackpot for Wed. I play two times a week in the office pool. I see it as an insurance policy.....I'm insured that all those guys can't win and walk out without me! 😀

Good philosophy..................PLUS................you'd certainly have a support group if you started to go crazy with your 1 or 2 million.........(assuming there's a good sized group buying in the pool)............or 5 or 10 million or whatever.

😉

Only 20 of us that "regularly" buy in the shop. 1 or 2 million would be all I need! 😀

75% of the people in my shop have over 30 years in (i.e. They can retire when they want to now. It wouldn't take much money to get them to retire and I know that for a fact. Can't risk it even if the chances are 1 in eleventy billion! 😀)

I generally refrain from subjugating myself to "the idiot tax".
Whoa, I thought you were dead -- go to Ventrilo more often!
The reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated.

Will attempt to frequent Ventrilo again soon when the repair to my headset is complete. It is at Sennheiser now (unfortunately no headset is immune to solidly tripping over the cord with the force equivalent to an XI on the Mercalli scale).

This board is too predictable. Topic = Powerball, some poster says "idiot tax". No original thoughts here.
I tend to save my few original thoughts for other more deserving (or perhaps less deserving, dependent on one's perspective) audiences.

Unfortunately, that Cro-Magnon forehead of yours precludes you such a cohort.

My apologies.

Good attempt, but that falls way too short.
