At least all these friggin quizshows are going away. We need less quiz/reality shows. Their time is up.
 
They cancelled Family Guy to make room for crappy shows like this? FOX really has no idea what they are doing ...

The idea of it seems interesting to me but it will probably be a crap show. I'd be interested in reading a book though of what life is like in an overseas embassy.

Mostly boring, handing out visas, getting American tourists out of jail, spying, etc. Then of course you have the American Embassy in Iran and other hot spots. Life can get exciting when you and your family are quickly hauled off in a military chopper having to leave all your crap behind. This stuff would make for a great show on the Learning Channel, but it sounds weak for a tv series.
 
They could make a show about one man in a pig farm and people would still watch it

what is worse than this show? the damn supreme court shows. it isn't that exciting! it's not like the justices get in a circle and put all their hands in the middle and yell "Goooooo TEAM!" that one First Monday and now this new one that is going to start called The Court, or something like that. talk about BORING. :disgust:

Dude I just watched this last night...and it was alright. Sure I'm becoming softer than I was back in college, but really this is kinda like an Ally McBeal comedy/drama that appeals to men as well (the whole embassy bombing was freaky...especially after 9/11 special, but very well done.)
 
The embassy was pretty good, a lot better than the Family Guy (which isn't really saying much as almost anything is better than the Family Guy)

Czar.......... funny yo should say that........... we have a local murder case where the guy owns a pig farm and he is accused of killing at least 2-3 prostitutes (40+ prostitutes are missing). Very sickening. So you never know............ they might make it in to a show 😛

The show looks like total crap.
They stoled the song from Smallvile, the one by the calling.
The girllooks like a Ally Mcbeal clone.
The American Embbassy in England makes no fvcking sense. Everybody in England speakes English so the part about the Embassy being a home away from home for Americans is a retarded comment. It be more interesting of the Embassy was located in Russia, China, or S. America.

Did you watch it? I turned on my TV last night and it was on. I had no idea what show it was until it was over but I thought it was interesting. I liked it better that Ally McBeal which I can't stand. Hey Calista, eat something for God's sake!Actually it reminded me more of Northern Exposure more than Ally McBeal. It had quirky characters like Northern Exposure (the Naked Guy who was blown up by a Car Bomb in the end) and a Transvestite Rock Singer. Compared to most of the other crap on TV it really wasn't that bad.

I would suggest that those of you who are condeming as awful take some time to watch an episode then pass judgement on it. You might not like it (especially oif you are the Family Guy Type) but it you want to watch something that is a little offbeat and different it might suite your taste.
 
I watched it and it sucked.

Chatty monologue by a young female in a high profile job who is obsessed about romance. They already used that premise in Ally McBeal and Ally is now a tired show. Let's give FOX a big round of applause for their sparkling originality!!
