Anyone else love the Arctic Cooling solutions?

Recently got the A64 Freezer Pro, and am now getting the Freezer 4 for my older 478socket P4 and a ATI Silencer 1 Rev2 for my X800XT AIW card. I love the ease of installation, the quiet operation, as well as the GREAT performance you get.

Who else loves em?

Arctic Cooling is great, although i think they took a step back with the Silencer GPU coolers. Too many models and too many compatibility issues and bad mounts. I still think they have the best low-budget HSFs though.

Yeah I hope the one I got fits ok on my AIW card. From newegg reviews it should do fine (fingers crossed)

I have Silencer 5 on my x850 that I'll be selling soon, it's a great cooler, though I had to mod it a little so it wouldn't interfere with my mobo's chipset fan. It laid the stock X850 cooler to waste in both performance and noise.

Freezer Pro looks like a nice cooler, I know a lot of people like it.

That Accelero thing for x1xx though, can't say I like its design very much... dumps all of its exhaust right onto the motherboard and into the airstream of the chipset cooler. I'd rather see something that exhausts the heat like the stock coolers and the Silencers.

I also love the Freezer models.

I'm not as big of a fan for the new ATI/NV Silencers because they no longer have that toggle for low or high fan speeds. At full speeds, I still consider the Silencers quite loud.

I don't have any (yet), but anyone here switched from Zalman 7700 to Freezer 64 Pro?
I'm keeping my Vf700Cu, but I sold the 7700 - It cools well but not silent enough (even @ 5V).

How's this Freezer 64 Pro when compared to 7700?

EDIT: I'm too retarded to read MadShrimps' HSF review - couldn't understand the chart with three bars?!

Thats all a matter of opinion....what actually counts is how it performs on your individual computer.

For me I am happy with my XP 120 and my Zalman 9500!!

My Arctic Cooler really surprised me when I took it out of the box. It was huge and I wondered if I would have enough clearance when I installed it. Well, after a few tries, it's sitting atop my Athlon and working fine.

The fan motor on my ATI Silencer died, and then they wouldn't do an RMA (saying that it was the vendor's responsibility). The vendor (Jab-tech) said it was AC's responsibility. So i'm not happy with how they support their customers and will probably not buy from them again.

I love the AC silencer on my 7800GT, the airflow was the bit that turned me away from the zalman.

So far my zalman has dropped temps on my X800XT PE about 25C under load.

I love my Freezer 64 Pro so far on my OPteron. The system is so quiet with it.

I plan on getting a Freezer for my P4 system too. She is running too hot and noisey!

If you use a fan controller, it still performs very well while being pretty darn silent. But noise is subjective...
