Anyone else love rainy days?

While most people love sunny days, I much more prefer a gloomy rainy day. Not really sure why; but I'm generally in a better mood when it's rainy and darker outside. I guess there is a "stay in and be cozy" appeal to it.

Anyone else prefer rainy days to sunny days?

I'm with ya dude. 55F, overcast, heavy fog, and light mist is the description of a perfect day for me.

I prefer rainy and cloudy days. The best days when growing up was playing football when it was cold and overcast.

yes I do. I love everything about it. the gloomy sky, cool and breezy fresh-smelling air, the abundant amount of water and how it washes away all the filth, the sound etc.

I love rain when the weather is warm. Cold and rainy sucks though.

I love a thunderstorm and a good downpour when I don't have to drive anywhere. Otherwise, the overcast and a nice cool breeze for when I do have to drive. I love to take my homework and/or book outside and sit under the patio while it's raining.

Ick. I don't know what makes me want to throw up more: listening to Metallica or reading all the homers posting in the comments that when Metallica plays a song by any other band it is automatically better than the original.

I like snow the best, but, it does suck as far as convenience. Otherwise, for me, cloudy is the most convienient, and easiest for my life, since then there is no glare or super bright sun to deal with when driving.

All in moderation. When it's been hot as hell lately, I love rain. When it's been raining for a month seemingly every day, a nice sunny day is great.

Me too. We don't get very many GOOD Thunderstorms here...only a couple per year tops.

That describes our winters...cold and rainy...it's unusual for us to get rain during the warm months. It happens occasionally...and pushes the humidity levels up quite a bit...but if it's under 80, it's tolerable. I miss summer thunderstorms.

I don't like driving in the rain though. Too many idiots seem to forget that rainy roads means less traction.

This. We had a period of like a month and a half recently where it was sunny and hot every single day. I couldn't wait for it to rain. Then it started raining and rained for like 4 days. After that I was ready for the sun again! I like a little variety in my weather from time to time.

"Cold" is a relative term...but when it's rainy and in the 30's...it's COLD...just not arctic cold.

I love rainy days, gives me an excuse not to do yard work and relax a bit.
