I am super excited. The only problem is, today is my Wifes birthday and i am taking out to dinner and will feel pretty guilty if i ditch her to watch the game. I hope the Saints destroy them. I don't think Favre can have the kind of year he had last year(at least i hope) of course I am slightly biased being a Packers fan.

Favre is the Terminator...he's always coming back...like a machine he is.

You better believe it. Rarely does the season start with a game this exciting for me.

I hope Favre gets killed.
Both literally and figuratively.
A L for the Vikings (and Favre) is a W for The Packers.

Should be good! Will Farve bring out the gun this year or will they be more run heavy? Who's to know!

You betcha...I hope the Vikings somehow manage to beat the Saints...but, much of it will depend on Favre and how well he's healed from the last beating he received at the hands of the Saints defense.

I think they will give them a steady dose of ADP this game. Favre played game manager for the first few games last season if anyone remembers. Receivers hurt, bad ankle, blitzing defense, no training camp (like he needs it) there is no point risking too much for the first game of the season.

Then again it's Favre. He's like a kid out there!

LOLL!!! Love it.

Man I hated the Favre circle jerk enough when he was a Packer and I liked him (I'm looking at you Kornheiser). Now that he's a prick, and a prick on the enemy's team I fully realize what all you non-Packer fans had to deal with for so many years.

On behalf of The Green Bay Packers, and the fans, and the great state of Wisconsin, I want to take this time to apologize.

I'm extremely nervous. I told my boss I have to leave at 4:30 so I can be home in time for kick-off, even though I only live a 15 minute walk away; need to pick up some food and beer first of course! :awe:

Anyway, go Vikes!

Truth be told, I want Favre and the Vikings to win.

But my gf, who is a Tulane grad/NOLA lover, will be pulling for the Saints.
