tried doing the plenty of fish .com thing and havent' gotten a single reply yet.

I'm not even sure if its real website because of all the premium purchases.

I hate misleading websites.
 
I've never done it but it's definitely a real website and I know people that have met others on there. All those sites do the paid thing for more money. It's one of the largest dating sites.
 
No, I'm not. I've been married for 21 years and this week the wife and two daughters are in Florida, and the other daughter is off somewhere with friends from work. I am the opposite of lonely.
 
There's an L&R forum for this

I work in a steel mill. Any feeling of wanting to find somebody is quickly stomped out after hearing of everybody's failed marriages. Sounds awful
 
I get lonely enough, but am way too committed to getting things done, to let it wash over me.

Try a hobby, or getting out of suburbia. The latter helped me a lot.
 
Yeah, but I've been lonely and without friends for the majority of my life, let alone a mutual love interest, so I'm kind of used to it.
 
What sucks about those sites is you don't know how many are going to be within your area until you make a profile and all that. Probably not a big issue if you live in a large city but smaller town then I could see that being a pain.

But yeah, I've been there done that ..the loneliness thing that is but back when there was no match.com type websites.
 
I was victimized by a blind date. The co-worker that fixed me up has now been my aunt for some 19 odd years.

Moral- put it out there to friends that you're available.

Wife, kid, girlfriend on the side & run a team at work - who has time to be lonely?

Internet dating blows - drag your ass out of your parents basement and go sit on a random bar stool 3-4 nights a week and meet some other people.
 
Created a match.com account for the fuck of it and got all kinds of hits. I'm too cheap to pay for a month to see how ugly they really are. LMAO!
