I had mild acne in high school. I used a acne medication that had cover up built in. I saw no shame in wearing a little makeup. No one could even tell anyways.

As for this girls acne, it's 100% her fault. Foundation clogs pores. Clogged pores = acne. She needs to suck it up and go without makeup until she get's her acne under control.

She didn't have as much on chest and back as on face. Even if she never wore makeup she would likely still have acne, but it seemed much more intense where she uses the makeup.

And it is fine for men to wear a little foundation if you breaking ou - the key is that you need to know how to use it (not too much) so it doesn't look like you're using it.

Makeup itself doesn't cause acne, acne is caused by oil and bacteria. You remove the bacteria OR the oil, you have no acne, even if you suffocate your pores with a ton of cement.
