Anyone else know high beam as 'blue jellyfish' as a kid?

I have to admit it was only a few years ago that I worked out what the symbol actually was

Well now that you mention it, the high beam symbol on my Accord does kinda look like a sideways blue jellyfish XD

Ya, it always reminded me of the bullets from Mario but blue.

I suspect it comes from growing up in a place where they're a real issue

I'll have to ask my siblings, but it was always 'blue jellyfish', although I knew it meant high beams...

Interesting to see if they're as dumb as I am ;)

I remember one time when I was younger, I asked my dad what the blue jellyfish on the gauge cluster meant. (We were driving at night on a secluded highway)

He laughed at me. A lot.

I always noticed that, but never really called it that. Either way, get too close to it in the wrong way and it will cause your eyes to hurt.
