Anyone else just totally suck at Mario games?

I was just playing mario 1 and 3. I keep falling in damn holes!

Heh.. I used to be pretty good.

I pulled the Nintendo out and my girlfriend and I were playing Mario 3. It took a little while to get used to the timing and stuff again, and not fall into the pits..

I finally managed to get to world 8 in mario 1, but only because I'm using an emulator and made a save point at the beginning of 4-2. I also made a save point at the beginning of 8-1. I've died about half adozen times on 8-1 now.
