for a THQ purchase made this year? Last THQ order I made was in February. Looks like THQ is giving out some Christmas presents.

Oh, the code can only be used on Christmas and towards THQ games of $4.99 or more. My problem is I don't know if there is a THQ game I don't already own.

Okay, just got one for EA game too. Again, only usable on Christmas.

Not only that, but I just got two promotional credits for specific add-ons for AirMech and Adventure Quest worlds, neither game I own.

Mine is $4.99 for EA games, can be used on December 25 only, based on my purchase of an EA game on January 2012 (which was using the $4.99 I received last year. lol)

Amazon's been giving them out for over a month now. I think I have like 10 of these $5 credits.

No, these are different coupons. If you bought a game from EA, Ubisoft, 2k, or THQ in the last year, you should get a $5 credit for use tomorrow or the next day (depending on the publisher). Amazon is still backfilling the credits, so I'm still waiting on THQ and 2K credits.

Edit: Meant to say credit.

Email on mine (EA) says by December 25th. Click on the link in the email and it says good through December 31st. 😕

It's a promo they are doing. If you bought a game from 2K, EA, THQ, or Ubisoft anything this year on Amazon you'll get a $5 credit to use on one of their games. You only get 1 credit per publisher, for some reason their system it sending out multiple emails for the same publisher for some people, you only get 1 credit. Also each publisher has a different time frame you can use it, it will tell you that time frame in the email.

Bought THQ pack when it was on sale for $9.99, got $5 discount for January 2013, got $5 discount for THQ games on Christmas. Bought Saints Row: The Third full pack for $2.49. Got another promo for January, free($9.99-$9.99) pack for AirMech and some other f2p game.........

What the heck is going on? I got the promotional credit email, clicked on the link, bought Hot Pursuit (price listed was $9.99) and they said the promotional credit would be added. Got an email receipt stating final purchase price was $9.99. No sign of credit. Thanks for that "Award" EA. *rolls eyes*

I've only got a 2K, though I don't remember getting anything this year. Works out because I've wanted Xcom anyways.

Ordered Sim 3. The code did not work for me either.

I tried to email both companies (Amazon and EA.)

Could only find a facebook page and twitter for EA support. So I sent a message on twitter to @EA

I filled out a form for help at Amazon.

I logged the whole process in an email with attachments I was going to send to them both. But you can't do that through Twitter or an online form...

I may write up a blog post and put it up for the public.

I have been reading these forums forever...first time I felt like I actually had something worth posting..too bad it had to be this. 🙂

Yeah, that just happened for me with Alice: Madness Returns. I'm not sure I'm going to sweat it too much, since it's just $5; honestly, I'm more bemused/annoyed by the fact that I apparently got two separate $5 EA credits (as per emails) and could only use one. On the other hand, apart from Alice I honestly wasn't really interested in anything else they had on sale...

Sorry you guys had similar experiences, although at least I know I'm not the only one. I'll try not to sweat it, but its kind of the principle of the thing.

It worked for me on the AdventureQuest World Armor set. I clicked on the link in the email that says "here". When I got to checkout, the discount was applied and I got it for free.

Holy @#$%, Amazon raised the price of Xcom from 24.99 to 37.49 today. Nothing like getting me to wait for it to cost $7 more after promo.
