No matter who wins, Obama or McCain (I'm a pats fan, so I've seen miracles happen :( ) Bush is gone. Even if McCain gets in, I can't see him sacrificing his own person for the next 4 years to please Republicans. Either way though, Bush is gone

Yupp,
although I am worried that Obama will turn into Jimmy Carter 2.0 and I'll be jobless forever.

No more nutty religion based policy FTW

No. It looks like Obama is going to win. He's one big mystery. At least with McCain we know who he is and what he stands for. Obama has no track record to go by.

As a conservative, NOT neo-con, I am glad to see Bush go and the whole damn administration with him. They have utterly disgraced the republican party through their actions. I hope Obama wins in a land slide so that the true conservatives out there can re-group and re-emerge as a the true voice of the people. I honestly think that Obama will be a more 'to the center' type of Pres than a leftist liberal that so many fear.

I'm stoked about the Steelers D putting the beatdown on the 'Skins last night.

That is true, but because of Mac's age, and his terrible V.P. pick, I for the first time, didn't vote for or against a pres. but rather against a V.P. I know I am not the only one either, so how bad is the pick when that happens? For all Obama's faults, I'd take him over Palin every time.

As has been pointed out, the presidency seem to age people unnaturally fast, Mac would blow away as dust like the Nazi in Last Crusade if that is the case. :p

I'll be in a fantastic mood on inauguration day.

though the prospect of the election being done is certainly brightening my day. hopefully the anger in P&N will drop down a couple notches after the gloatfest tonight.

I'm a little concernced if McCain gets elected, but only because of the VP.

She strikes me as a member of the exclusive part of the GOP....exclusive unless you wanna work for them below minimum wage.

Until McCain needs to pander, then he chooses a different path, sorry mccain has no spine anymore. And anyone with a sane mind cannot put Caribou Barbie in the veep seat, she makes dickie boy seem stable.

Bush never directly influenced my life (outside of some extra cash in my pocket that will be paid back in spades when Obama taxes the crap out of me once I hit $200K), I have no reason to think McCain or Obama will directly influence my life (other than the aforementioned). So I'm ambivalent.

Bush will be gone in a couple of months, and that's enough for me. I don't see McCain being quite so bad. But I would rather have a mystery, than misery.

Pretty happy Bush is gone. Won't be happy if McCain wins. Will be moderately happy if Obama wins. At least he can articulate a sentence unlike Bush.

Be nice to get over this election cycle. Let the blood letting finish tonight for the republicans. Hopefully this dose of Chemo will finally rid the republican party of its neo-con cancer.

And Ill welcome my democrat overlords in the morning and pray the republicans get their shit together to reclaim lost ground in 2010.
