I hear they are upping my speed next year...we shall see.

I work at a university and can saturate the 100 mbit ethernet port on my laptop, so yes. At home, not so much. 20/1 with Time Warner. The upload speed is awful, and that sucks when you want to backup online. I really miss my Fios service back in Virginia.

This is the one thing that infuriates me with Time Warner, the shitty upload speeds. I also have the 20/1, and download speed is plenty fast, but yea, completely impractical to use cloud backup stuff.

I used to be worse though. I used to have 8mb/256kb, and they only recently upgraded me for free.

It's the only real ISP in town, and that sucks.

I wish they'd upgrade us like they did with the north-east. 🙁

I'm pleased with these results but it makes me wonder when some times I can't even stream 720p YouTube videos reliably. YouTube definitely isn't as good as it was a couple years or so ago, IMO. Netflix seems fine.

That's because YouTube is flippin' awful. I tried to watch the presidential debates on there, and it rebuffered once every 10-15 seconds at 480p! I went to CNN, and it played just fine.

And . . . I'm paying $72.44 incl. all tax and fees for fast FIOS internet, multi-room HD DVR and ALL the big premium channels (HBO, Cinemax, SHO, Starz, EPIX etc,) and phone. 🙂

As good as it gets for me. :'( I live roughly one mile from at least 4 times better speed in either direction. I hate this connection soooo much, att can suck it.

lol you have a higher than 100mbps connection and only a 10/100 network? Upgrade to gigabit, it's so cheap now. 😛

Damn, I wish I could get more than 1meg upload. 🙁 I'm jelly bro.
