Anyone else here NOT like charmin bathroom tissue?

I really don't like Charmin toilet paper.

It just doesn't stand up when compared to a true quality product like Quilted Northern, or even the plain old Scott rolls.

I find that Charmin paper tends to slip around alot, whereas Northern has a better "bite," if you will.

anyone else agree?

this guy at work carries around baby wipes in those containers that you pull out the tissue with to the bathroom to do #2.

Hmm.. I found the opposite to be true. However, I've had a few girlfriends who don't like Charmin because it leaves remnants of TP behind.

that's exactly the problem i have with charmin.

My fingers can never get a good grip on it, so when I apply more pressure to grab it, I poke through!

For sure. I hate having to ream out dingleberries with a washrag or bottle scrubber.

Costco has some pretty good TP. I don't know what brand it is, but it doesn't dingleberrify too bad. Probably quiled northern.

Which charmin are you using? I used the "soft" version of the TP and it broke up easily, fingers slipped through, chunks of TP stuck in my ass, etc, etc, etc. I went with the charmin "tough" roll and I haven't had that problem since. I also use less overall TP per wipe with the tougher stuff. Doesn't break up and my fingers don't slip through. You might want to give the tougher one a roll (pun intended).

Have to be careful with how much you put in the toilet to flush though. That stuff clogs toilets easily if you aren't careful.

I thought I was the only one. I hate Charmin as well. It slips around in your hand leaving high speed poo skids from your fingers up your palm. If you hold it extra tight to prevent rectal finger probes, you rip through the toilet paper jamming your middle finger right up your butt.

It also leaves a lot of lint in my ass hair, which leaves me itchy for the day.

All in all, I rate it one floater out of five.

Actually that stuff is more like a paper towel than toilet paper, to me, but I always keep a full canister of the flushable wipes on the back of each toilet at home and keep a ziploc baggie with a couple in it at work just in case!

I see I'm not the only one. Charmin is the worst. Your fingers poke through too easily and it leaves lint behind. I can't believe this product has lasted this long on the market.

One thing that would be cool if there was porn out there that featured women who used Charmin toilet paper. So, when you see a close up of her vagina, you see bits of toilet paper around that area.

I know a lady at school who worked for several years in a proctologist's office. Last summer, she gave a presentation on "Care of the Anus" in a class where we had to do a presentation on any subject we were comfortable talking about...:roll:

She advocates using only baby wipes for that particular appliication. Says it's MUCH easier on those "sensitive waste reomval" parts...
