I really have no idea anymore... the videocard is one up from the nvidia Ti-something series, but no idea beyond that.

Who's with me?

I could name most of the specs of my home computer. I couldn't say the same about the work computers that I speced all myself when we bought them. I just don't care that much any more. Most computers now do everything I need or want. The specs are becoming less and less important. Heck, I used to post solely in General Hardware. Now I only go there if I accidently click on the link.

It's a Dell, don't have to do a lot of guessing to know I have a pos video card. GeForce4, FTW! It has been treating me well these past few years...

lol

I joined for the Overclocking forum, now i'm just losing interest in it. Seems everyone eventually migrates to off topic.

i put my PC together myself, but i can't remember the exact specs anymore. i know it's got 1GB RAM and like 400GB+ HD space, but that's about it. i'm not really an upgrading fiend anymore.

I think it's fair to say the majority of people who visit AT's Forums are either enthusiasts and therefore would know exactly what they have, or they're people who want to learn and find out what they have. My question to you would be what the hell do you do here since you're obviously not an enthusiast and still haven't learned anything after 10,000+ posts?

Exactly the same here. You can blame the moderators for that. Seems they're more concerned about topics being posted in the wrong forums than they are about encouraging quality discussions in any forum, and discouraging flame wars, chest pounding, and ePenis measuring. Way to go guys... you've made AT Forums the "Off Topic" forums of well known techie sites.

Excuse me sir (adjusts glasses) I'm going to need to suspend your geek card until further notice.

Have no idea.

Silver with pipes and lights up when stressed out. 😛

But it works and hasn't fallen off the table!
