Anyone else having to work today? 12/26

kinda, i was given the day off, but if i work i get 2.5 times pay, i decided to do the latter because i have nothing else to do

Nope, and I've got two more days off after then, then I work for 3 hours, then head to San Antonio for one of my VA medical appointments. Then work for 8 hours. After that, two more days off, then two more medical appointments in San Antonio, one day off, and then it's back to work for me...

I'm at work today... along with a few other folks. 90% of the office is out today since it's optional... just not for me!

Will probably cut out early to hit the malls once I make sure all of the shipments have come in and gone out.

i'm here... 95% of my team is not... but, to be fair, this is the best time of year to be at work: no one is here (incl. the manager) and there's little to no work to get done so it's actually very quiet and relaxing... i come in late, leave early and all the while save up vacation time for more hectic periods when i really do need to get away.

Desktop support for a major bank. It's dead today here, most people are taking the week off so I don't expect it to be any busier the rest of the week. I love it - I have to come in, but it's nothing like a normal work week around here. Until I have kids, I will never take this week off.

Yes and I LOVE IT! I love working holiday weeks. The drive in is nice.. no one is here to bug you and it's usually so quiet the boss lets you go home early!
